Subaru wanted to create an immersive auto show experience that showed how the brand is following through on its “Love Promise” — demonstrated by commitments to the National Parks, environmentalism and pets.
The exhibit featured several Subaru vehicles in their “natural habitat.”
An elevated ranger station and campfire seating helped visitors immerse themselves in the experience.
As visitors walked through the booth, they passed under a rope bridge structure akin to something you’d see in a National Park.
An immersive Wilderness Theater transported visitors to a variety of outdoor environments.
The Theatre featured different kinds of terrain projected on the ground and walls and even falling “snow” — simulated using bubbles.
The Subaru Kinetic Cave allowed guests to learn more about Subaru’s environmental efforts and commitments through an interactive digital experience.
A touchless interface mapped visitors’ shadows onto the cave wall, allowing them to gaze at stars, pick up and dispose of trash, and plant trees and watch them grow.
The Subaru Loves Pets adoption area let guests play with pets in need of forever homes. Pets could be adopted from the show floor.
Through a blue archway, an area was dedicated to the other side of Subaru’s business – motorsports and performance vehicles.
Cars were placed in front of dynamic video screens which showed Subaru’s performance pedigree.
The separate performance area allowed Subaru to feature its full range of products inside the exhibit space.
The Subaru auto show experience has garnered awards, media attention and (most importantly) smiles from an engaged public.
