GM | European Mobile Showroom
GM wanted to raise brand awareness and create excitement for the Cadillac and Corvette brands in Europe.
GM called on EWI to refine and execute a concept design that was provided to the company by another vendor.
EWI scouted this location for a mobile GM pop up store — in front of “Volkiland” shopping mall in Volketswil, Switzerland (a suburb of Zurich).
We provided turnkey interior and exterior construction services, including location scouting, construction applications and permits, complete prefabrication and installation.
The showroom’s interior captured the essence of both the Cadillac and Corvette brands by way of finishes and material selection.
The showroom featured ‘pods’ (kiosks) next to vehicles with website-based vehicle configurators and tablet-based lead generation.
EWI concepted and created emotive video content to generate excitement for the brands. Videos were shown on two wall mounted screens and one transparent LED video screen in the showroom’s large front window.
Drawing on our global team’s knowledge of local regulations and logistics, we were able to address Swiss regulatory constraints and keep the project on time and within budget (in spite of difficulties caused by COVID).
EWI has always been built on collaboration. SYMA (fixture fabrication) and Aircon (roof installation/weatherproofing) were both instrumental in the execution of the GM mobile showroom.
